General Information of El Cozumeleño Beach Resort Hotel


CHECK IN: It’s at 3 pm, in case you arrived before that time you will start the process of filling the registration sheet, proceed with the payment of any pending balance, payment of environmental fee of $ 7 us per night per room and the deposit in warranty requested for the hotel of $150 us, therefore you will get the corresponding bracelet and be able to use the facilities as well the services until the room key is delivered.

CHECK OUT: It’s at 12 or Noon, in case of NOT delivering the room or willing to stay in the room for a longer time there is a charge for LATE CHECK OUT of $ 40 us until 4 pm and $ 60 us until 6 pm, this is subject to availability.

TOWELS: They are for the exclusive use inside the hotel and they can’t be taken out, towel service exchange is only from 7 am until 7 pm, very important NOT lose the towels or the cards because there is a charge of $ 25 us for each.

SAFETY BOX: Keep the safe box locked and the key with you at all times. In case of losing the safe box key there is a charge of $ 100 us.

BRACELETS: The use of bracelet is mandatory, this will allow the Access and the use of our facilities as well of all our services; in case of rupture the extra cost for replacement is $ 10 us and in case of loss the replacement cost is $ 100 us.

RESTAURANT SCHEDULES: “El Cocal” Restaurant does not require Reservations; Breakfast is served from 7 till 11 am; Lunch from: 12 till 5 pm; Dinner from: 6 till 10 pm.

Specialty restaurant “La Veranda” serves only dinner and requires reservation, at the tour desk every day from 8 am to 4 pm.

Restaurant Bar opens daily from 7 am to 10 pm.
Lobby Bar opens daily from 7 am to 11 pm.

ROOM SERVICE: The hotel has a room service included only on the Ocean View, Sky View and Premium Sky categories. Dial # 3 on the phone and you can see the menu on TV channel # 5, service is available from 7 am to 10 am and from 12 pm to 9 pm.

WIFI: Hotel has wireless internet in most of the public areas such as: Lobby, Restaurant, Pools and in the Sky y Premium Sky category rooms.

ALL INCLUSIVE: The hotel offers all inclusive packages and includes:

  • All food, alcoholics and non alcoholic beverages.
  • Room service (except Garden View).
  • WIFI on all common areas and Sky categories rooms.
  • Specialty restaurant.
  • Recreational activities as Mini Golf, ping pong, billiards, Giant Chess, etc.
  • None motorized aquatic sports.

⦁ EXTRA CHARGES: There are other services not included on your package such like:

  • Long distance calls and 01 800.
  • Bottled wines.
  • Laundry services.
  • Massages.
  • Antigen and PCR COVID test.
  • Wave Runners.

CHANGE OR CANCELATION POLICY: In case of cancelation or change of any reservation you need to contact the sales or Reservation department for further information about the penalties, deposit paid at the moment of reservation in NOT reimbursable.

EARLY CHECK OUT: In case that you wish to leave the hotel before the check out date there is a penalty of 2 nights and they will be apply at the moment of checking out.

PERSONAL VALUES: Hotel is NOT responsible for any personal values or money left in or out of the safety box.

COVID TEST: In the hotel we have at your disposal in case you required any COVID test, this is done at the SPA and you have to make your appointment at least 2 days before your check out date. The cost is $ 28 us for the Antigen test and $ 130 us for PCR test, you must bring your passport when you take the test.
